夏 Xià (Xia — “summer” in Mandarin) is a Chinese producer whose six appearances across three ESØTËRIC releases have become some of the most distinctive sonic moments in the catalog. “After The Storm, You’ll See The Sun” and “I Could Be The One For You” (With Love, Ebstar :), 2023) brought a club-rooted Chinese electronic sensibility to Ebstar’s piano house framework. “Shanghai to Seoul (Lost In The Dance)” (TWENTY: Something Special, 2021) is the track that named the collaboration before it had a name — geography, biography, and artistic mission in one title. The “Wuhan Club Remix” of “I Have a Crush on You” (2023) completes a catalog presence that is geographically specific and sonically borderless.
