Ebstar

Ebstar is a Zimbabwean-born, Korea-based DJ and producer whose music doesn’t belong to one continent — because he never has. Born in Bulawayo on November 29, 2001, he relocated to South Korea and began producing entirely by ear, placing 290th on SkioMusic’s World Producer Chart within his first year. His breakthrough “After The Storm” became the first example of a piano house sound now inseparable from his name — warm, melodic, emotionally direct, and built for both headphones and dance floors. Across three albums (Life Is Beautiful, ECHOES OF LOVE I, Maknaebe), two EPs, and dozens of singles, Ebstar moves through deep house, tech house, Amapiano, bass music, electro-pop, and R&B without announcing the transitions. He has charted in South Korea (#45, “The Breakup Anthem”), Luxembourg (#37, “what does it mean to be happy?”), and Estonia (#9, “sexual pt. I (ecstasy)”), and holds 50+ brand collaborations across East Asia, Southeast Asia, the UK, and Southern Africa. Alongside music, he is an active machine learning researcher at Korea University with published academic papers in semantic segmentation.
